Alera Group, a national insurance and wealth management firm, has ramped up its M&A activity with its third purchase this month.

Alera has acquired Utah-based Fringe Benefit Analysts for an undisclosed amount. The full-service insurance, consulting and employee benefits firm offers a suite of educational tools to help simplify the benefits process.

“Fringe Benefit Analysts’ longevity in the industry speaks to their strong customer service and unmatched expertise,” Alan Levitz, CEO of Alera Group, said in a release. “They are dedicated to establishing lasting relationships between their teams and their clients and we share those values at Alera Group. ”

In an effort to grow its national footprint, the company also acquired AGM Benefit Solutions, a provider of voluntary benefits and benefits technology, in mid July. Earlier this month, Alera Group struck an M&A deal with New England Employee Benefits Company, which utilizes technology and analytics to deliver cost-effective benefits solutions.

Joining Alera Group will offer us a unique opportunity to collaborate with other leading experts in our field and build on our extensive products and services.”
