Big names like Allstate and Spotify made the list, with only one — HubSpot — promoting a hybrid versus remote model and asking that employees spend at least a little time in the office. With flexibility still in high demand among job seekers, these companies have a lot to gain in the way of talent recruitment.
"This is a way for companies to attract top talent from a wider geographic region, [rather] than just having an office where people live and work nearby," says Toni Frana, lead career expert at FlexJobs. "Also, particularly since the pandemic, organizations want to provide competitive benefits and a safe and secure place to work. I think offering a remote-first culture, or remote-first opportunity for employees is at the top of the list for a lot of people."
