20 tech companies with the highest employee satisfaction

While jobs in technology can be financially rewarding, mentally they can be challenging, leading to burnout and poor employee retention. 

Fullstack Academy recently ranked the tech companies with the best work-life balance by examining Glassdoor reviews for over 100 of the most well-known tech companies in the U.S., focusing on keywords that indicate either a good or poor work-life balance. It ranked the companies by low negative keyword frequency to high negative keyword frequency.

The top ranking company, NetApp, has 1,801 Glassdoor reviews with a 10.05% negative keyword frequency. The positive reviews for this data infrastructure company give insight into how it values work-life balance, featuring mentions of "flexible," "work from home" and "time off" in Glassdoor reviews.

Other top companies include Cisco and Spotify, with Cisco receiving 10,237 Glassdoor reviews with a 10.13% negative keyword frequency and Spotify receiving 583 reviews with a 10.46% negative keyword frequency.
