Artificial intelligence is becoming more prevalent in the workplace, despite a popular belief that this new technology will eliminate jobs. The addition of AI has created new positions for those looking to work with or develop the technology.
FlexJobs recently ranked five in-demand AI careers, and the top jobs have an average salary of $120,769, according to Payscale. Most of these positions require a background in programming, software development or data science and analysis.

AI can also be beneficial in streamlining the job-search process from both the applicant and employer. With this technology, employers and job seekers can sort through hundreds of applications more efficiently. AI can also simplify the process of writing resumes and cover letters.
While there are many benefits, utilizing AI in a job search has drawbacks on both sides, including a lack of personal interactions in the early stages of the application process, as well as the potential for bias in algorithms.
