Realtor came in first place as the most desirable job with an average of 52,948 monthly searches, followed by travel agent, which came in second with an average monthly search volume of 35,691. And while many of the jobs are traditional 9-to-5 employment in fields with reliable income such as healthcare and tech, a few outliers ranked highly on BeamJobs' list, too. "It's interesting to see such a wide range of jobs appear in the ranking," Stephen Greet, co-founder and CEO of BeamJobs said in the release. "Moreover, [it] suggests that a high salary isn't always essential when searching for a job. Firefighters ranked third, and since volunteers account for more than half of firefighters in the U.S., it reflects that money isn't [always] a motivator for all."
