Career insights platform Lensa studied United States search trends to determine what employees want from their employers in 2022. Lensa tracked the number of searches for 50 employee benefits over the last 12 months and curated a list of demands employers could expect from their employees in the coming months.

For example, remote working is the biggest employee demand, followed closely by a four-day workweek, according to the list. Smart offices and employee assistance programs that support mental health also rank particularly high on the list, highlighting employees’ concerns about the potential transition away from the home office as well as their own mental wellness.
