Big tech companies like Facebook and Google are famous for their over-the-top benefits and perks. Now, any business can offer their employees the same things through an all-inclusive benefits marketplace.

PERKS, an organization that works to help companies build positive workplace cultures, has created the PERKS Marketplace — employees can search and shop for childcare services, massages and virtual therapy, fitness classes, and even team building experiences to support their personal and professional needs.

“Our system was designed to be inclusive by nature, allowing an organization to empower their people to choose the right tools to be productive, perform their best and be motivated and happy,” says Dominik Pantelides, CEO and co-founder of PERKS. “The market has a need to provide culture and support wherever an organization's people are located."

In order to help determine which services are best for a specific organization, PERKS works with each company’s HR leadership to conduct a series of interviews and pulse surveys, in an effort to understand how people within the company view its current support system. Organizations are then given recommendations that best support the culture and needs of its staff.

As the work world evolves, organizations have been forced to adapt and find new ways to keep workers engaged, productive and supported. Going forward, those needs will only grow as organizations start to think about what work will look like in a post-pandemic world.

“The big question every organization is currently asking themselves is how do we translate our form of culture and support into this distributed future,” Pantelides says. “The other challenge is now people are demanding more flexible work options and the ability to work from anywhere. This is where a platform like PERKS comes into play, bringing a truly inclusive culture and support system to any organization, regardless of size, budget or location.”
