Traditional healthcare models are failing to deliver on the needs of employers and their populations. Individuals are waiting over 3 weeks to get seen by a doctor. Meanwhile, pharmacists and primary care physicians are overwhelmed. Point solutions are going unused and aren't solving for end outcomes. We know that investments in care aren't paying off as much as they should be, and this is largely because access and convenience aren't central to design.
Throughout the pandemic, we've seen what happens when we bring care to the true last mile. These same principles should be applied to other areas of health including prevention, screening, gaps in care closure, and clinical evaluations. Care should be available where your employees will actually engage– on their schedule and in the privacy and comfort of their homes.
